Origin & Traditional Use

Lucifer oil is a ritual anointing oil dedicated to Lucifer, the Light Bearer, used in Luciferian and demonolatry practice. Lucifer is Latin for “light-bringer”, the name of the Morning Star, the planet Venus at dawn.

Uses in the Work

Anoint the third eye and the crown before Luciferian invocation, ideally at dawn while Venus is rising. Dress gold candles for gnosis and illumination, black candles for adversarial and shadow work, and dab the corners of a written pact of self-sovereignty. Its size suits a practitioner who keeps a small vial dedicated solely to one deity.
