Description
Origin & Traditional Use
Dragon’s blood is a deep red resin from trees of the Dracaena and Daemonorops families, burned as incense and used as a dye and varnish. In magic it is burned to add power, protection and passion to any working.
Uses in the Work
Burn it on charcoal during evocation to give the spirit ‘body’ through dense smoke, or blend it with frankincense to consecrate tools. Add a pinch to banishing incense to strengthen the boundary of the circle, and burn it alone when calling forceful or martial spirits.
Pairs Well With
Three Kings Charcoal – 10 Tablets; Hanging Metal Censer 12″; Dragon’s Blood Oil – 1 oz
Lore
