Origin & Traditional Use
A ritual knife with a bone handle and a Damascus steel blade, the patterned steel once forged in the Near East. Athames are used to cast circles, direct energy and command spirits.
Uses in the Work
Consecrate it with the four elements, then use it to trace the circle and triangle of art, direct energy, and point at the spirit when giving commands. Never use it to cut physical objects; that keeps its charge pure.
