Description
Origin & Traditional Use
An altar cloth printed with a ouija board layout, used to dress the altar for spirit communication.
Uses in the Work
Dress the altar with it for mediumship, necromancy and demon communication. Use it with a planchette or a pendulum over the letters to receive messages, or simply as the ground cloth beneath your sigils, candles and offerings during a spirit-calling ritual. It defines the altar as a space of contact with the other side.

Lore
Talking boards became so popular during World War I, as families sought word from soldiers killed at the front, that factories could barely meet demand. Spiritualist mediums used spirit cabinets, trumpets and boards to reach the dead.
