Description
Origin & Traditional Use
A small brass censer with a mesh screen, used to burn loose incense, resin and herbs on charcoal or directly on the screen. Censers are the vessels of temple and church incense.
Uses in the Work
Burn resins and herbs gently on the screen without charcoal for a softer smoke, or with a small charcoal tablet beneath for a fuller burn. Use it to offer incense to a spirit, to cense tools and sigils during consecration, and to carry smoke around the circle. It is a compact censer for daily devotion and small altars.
