Description

Origin & Traditional Use

This is a scented jar candle made for a specific intention, poured into glass so it can burn safely for many hours. Jar candles are used as devotional lights and for workings that need to be held over several days. These candles are burned against the evil eye, the envious gaze believed across the Mediterranean, the Middle East and Latin America to bring illness and bad luck.

Uses in the Work

A wall against evil: envy, psychic attack, the evil eye and malefic spirits are turned away the moment the flame is lit. Burn it by the front door or on the threshold altar. Pair it with a blue glass eye charm or a dish of salt and red pepper. Renew it whenever you feel watched or drained.

Pairs Well With

Black Salt – 1 oz; Hex Breaker Oil – 1 oz; Banishing Oil – 1 oz
