Description

Origin & Traditional Use

This is a scented jar candle made for a specific intention, poured into glass so it can burn safely for many hours. Jar candles are used as devotional lights and for workings that need to be held over several days. Manifestation candles are burned with a written wish or petition to bring a desire into being, the oldest form of candle magic.

Uses in the Work

For manifestation and the fulfillment of desire: the candle of ‘get what you want.’ Write your desire as if it has already happened, sign it, and burn it beneath the candle. When the flame is spent, burn the paper in your cauldron and release it.

Pairs Well With

Bay Leaves – 1 oz; Heavy Parchment Paper – 5 Pack; Crown of Success Oil – 1 oz

Lore

Austin Osman Spare taught that a desire must be forgotten once launched. Clinging to it holds it in the conscious mind and keeps it from manifesting.
