This is a ninety-hour candle poured into a glass jar and scented for its purpose. Long-burning jar candles are used in workings that need to be held over many days, and as devotional lights on the altar. These candles honour the spirits of nature and the Horned God of the wild, and are burned in workings with the land, the forest and the old gods.

Uses in the Work

For the Horned God, lord of the wild, the hunt and the forest. He is the masculine power of nature, kin to Pan, Cernunnos and the Sabbatic Goat. Burn it in the woods or with oak, pine and cedar on the altar. Offer wine and invoke him for strength, virility and wild freedom.
