This is a ninety-hour candle poured into a glass jar and scented for its purpose. Long-burning jar candles are used in workings that need to be held over many days, and as devotional lights on the altar. These scented candles are burned for their fragrance’s traditional magical qualities, as altar lights and as offerings to the spirits.

Uses in the Work

For elemental and altar work: setting the quarters, balancing the elements and dressing the altar as a complete working space. Place them at the four quarters (air in the east, fire in the south, water in the west, earth in the north) and light them in turn as you call each guardian.
