Origin & Traditional Use

Lailokens Awen candles are hand-poured intention candles made with herbs, oils and symbols for a particular purpose or sabbat. Awen is the Welsh word for the flowing spirit of poetic and divine inspiration. Full moon candles are burned at the height of the lunar cycle, when magic is said to be at its strongest, for manifestation, love and abundance.

Uses in the Work

A candle for the Full Moon, the night of greatest lunar power. It is used for charging, manifestation, love, scrying and psychic opening. Set your tools, stones and waters around it in moonlight to charge them. Scry in water or a mirror while it burns, and record what you see in your grimoire.
