Description
Origin & Traditional Use
Ritual candles are candles made and dressed for one intention, with herbs, oils and colour chosen for the work. They are designed to be the focus of a single spell or ritual. Healing candles are burned as a prayer for recovery and wellbeing, continuing the old practice of lighting votive lights for the sick before saints and gods.
