Description
Origin & Traditional Use
Mugwort is a silvery wild herb of the daisy family that grows along roadsides across Europe and Asia. It was once used to flavour beer before hops, and in folk tradition it is the classic herb of dreams, visions and the traveller’s protection.
Uses in the Work
Burn it before scrying, or sew it into a dream pillow for psychic dreams and spirit contact. It is the standard herb for opening the inner sight before divination and evocation.
