Description
Origin & Traditional Use
Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham (1988) is one of the bestselling books on witchcraft ever written. It teaches the basics of Wiccan belief, ritual and magic for those practising alone.
Uses in the Work
Use it for the foundations of circle casting, the elements, tools and seasonal rites, then adapt them to the left-hand path. Its chapters on tools and the elements are a solid base for building your own altar and ritual structure, and its approach to solitary self-initiation is a model for a personal dedication rite. Keep it beside your book of shadows, and record what you test in practice alongside the author’s method.
