Crown of Success is a traditional hoodoo condition oil, a blend of fragrant oils and herbs in a carrier oil, made to bring success, mastery and recognition. Rootworkers have long used it to dress candles, petitions and the body before exams, job interviews, auditions and business deals.

Uses in the Work

Crown of Success comes from the hoodoo tradition of “conditions” named for the result they bring. It was sold through the Southern drugstores and spiritual supply catalogues of the early twentieth century alongside formulas like Fast Luck and Master Key. Its classic base of bay, frankincense and sandalwood carries the old association of laurel with victors, kings and the crowned head.
