Description
Origin & Traditional Use
Taper candles are tall, slender candles that burn for several hours in a candlestick. They were the everyday candle of churches and homes for centuries and are the classic altar and quarter candle. Elemental and altar candles are burned at the four quarters or on the altar to represent and call the elements of fire, water, earth and air.
