Description

Origin & Traditional Use

A scrying mirror of polished black obsidian on a stand, so it can be set on the altar at eye level. Black mirrors are used for divination and spirit contact.

Uses in the Work

Scry by candlelight with soft, unfocused eyes until the surface clouds and images rise. Use it to contact spirits after evocation, to receive visions, and for shadow work. The stand frees both hands for ritual gestures.
