Origin & Traditional Use
The Dictionary of Demons by Michelle Belanger is an A to Z reference of over 1,500 demons drawn from grimoires, folklore and religious texts, with their names, ranks and powers.
Uses in the Work
Use it to research a spirit’s names, ranks and offices before evocation, to cross-reference sigils, and to choose the right demon for a working. It is ideal for the Demon Research task, giving sources for each spirit so you can go deeper. Keep it beside your book of shadows, and record what you test in practice alongside the author’s method.
