Description
Origin & Traditional Use
A poster of the magic circle and triangle of the Ars Goetia, the first book of the Lesser Key of Solomon, the classic diagram for evoking its 72 spirits. Posters are used to dress temple walls and to study the design.
Uses in the Work
Use it as the template for painting or chalking your own Goetic circle and triangle, copying the names and placements. Hang it in the temple during evocation, and use it to study the layout of the divine names, the serpent coil and the position of the triangle in the east. It serves as a protective and orienting symbol in any Solomonic working.

Lore
The Goetia instructs the magician to stand in a circle nine feet across, with a coiled serpent and divine names, while the spirit appears in a triangle two feet outside it. Aleister Crowley’s 1904 edition of the Goetia, translated by S. L. MacGregor Mathers, made the text famous.
