Origin & Traditional Use

Reiki-charged pillar candles are large free-standing candles that have been energetically charged with Reiki, a Japanese energy practice, for a particular intention. Pillars burn for many hours and are the traditional altar candle. Healing candles are burned as a prayer for recovery and wellbeing, continuing the old practice of lighting votive lights for the sick before saints and gods.

Uses in the Work

For healing and restoration, to support recovery, renew vitality and close the wounds left by intense work. Burn it beside a photo or taglock of the person to be healed, with rosemary and lavender. Always use it alongside proper medical care.
