Origin & Traditional Use

Ritual candles are candles made and dressed for one intention, with herbs, oils and colour chosen for the work. They are designed to be the focus of a single spell or ritual. Manifestation candles are burned with a written wish or petition to bring a desire into being, the oldest form of candle magic.

Uses in the Work

For manifestation and the fulfillment of desire: the candle of ‘get what you want.’ Write your desire as if it has already happened, sign it, and burn it beneath the candle. When the flame is spent, burn the paper in your cauldron and release it.
