Description
Origin & Traditional Use
A poster of the Sigillum Dei Aemeth, the “Seal of God’s Truth”, a complex seal of angelic names made famous by John Dee. It is used in Enochian and ceremonial magic and to dress the temple.
Uses in the Work
Use it as a reference for making your own seal of wax or metal, and display it as a protective and empowering symbol in the temple. In Enochian practice the seal is placed beneath the scrying stone, so place it beneath your crystal or mirror when scrying. It is also used as a focus in meditation on the angelic hierarchies.

Lore
John Dee’s wax seal of the Sigillum Dei Aemeth, about nine inches across, survives in the British Museum. Dee said the angels gave him the design through his scryer Edward Kelley. Earlier versions of the seal appear in the medieval Sworn Book of Honorius.
