Description

Origin & Traditional Use

A set of three small carved soapstone jars with lids. Jars like these hold incense, herbs and salts, and in magic they are used as spirit vessels, a home for a spirit to reside in.

Uses in the Work

Dedicate a jar as a spirit house: place the demon’s sigil inside with a drop of its oil and an offering, close it, and keep it on the altar so the spirit has an anchor in your home. Use the others for herbs, graveyard dirt or blood offerings. In Solomonic magic, a jar can stand in for the brass vessel of binding, holding a sigil of a troublesome spirit.

Solomon Seal Oil – 1 oz; Magic Sealing Wax; Graveyard Dirt – 1 oz
