Description
Origin & Traditional Use
A poster of King Solomon, the biblical king whom legend made the master of demons and the author of the grimoires. Posters are used to dress temple walls.
Uses in the Work
Hang it as a patron image in a Solomonic or Goetic temple, honouring the tradition of the magician who commands spirits. Use it as a focus in meditation before evocation, and as a reminder of the authority claimed in the Ars Goetia. It sits well beside the Goetic Circle and Sigillum Dei Aemeth posters.

Lore
The Testament of Solomon, written around the first centuries AD, tells how the archangel Michael gave Solomon a ring that let him bind demons and set them to building the Temple. The Islamic tradition tells how Solomon commanded the jinn, and the Lesser Key of Solomon lists the 72 spirits he sealed in a brass vessel.
