Description
Origin & Traditional Use
Solomon Seal oil is a ceremonial oil associated with King Solomon’s Seal and the Solomon’s seal root, used for wisdom, protection and authority over spirits.
Uses in the Work
Dress spirit seals before consecration to ‘lock’ the spirit’s connection to its sigil. Anoint each knot of a binding cord as it is tied, seal the lid of a spirit vessel, and dress any talisman that must hold its charge for a long time. It is also used to fix an oath or a pact so it cannot be undone.
