Stinging Nettle – 1 oz

$4.35

Description

Origin & Traditional Use

Stinging nettle is the common wild plant covered in fine stinging hairs. Its young leaves are cooked as a green, made into soup and tea, and its fibres were once spun into cloth. In folk magic it is a fierce herb of protection and returning curses.

Uses in the Work

Use it to break curses and return them to the sender. Add it to protective powders, jars and witch bottles, and sprinkle it around the home to drive off evil. Stuff it into a poppet to send pain back to an attacker, and burn it in exorcism and banishing work. It is a classic herb of hexing and revenge.

Pairs Well With

Agrimony – 1 oz; Reversing Oil – 4 dram; Black Salt – 1 oz
