Description

Origin & Traditional Use

Sun planetary oil is a ritual oil blended from herbs and resins ruled by the Sun, such as frankincense, cinnamon and orange, used in planetary and ceremonial magic.

Uses in the Work

Dress gold or yellow candles on a Sunday in the hour of the Sun for success, fame, authority and vitality. Anoint solar talismans and the crown of the head before workings for leadership. In Luciferian work the Sun is the light of self-illumination, so use it to dress a candle for Lucifer at noon. It is fitting with the Olympic spirit Och and the Goetic kings.

Lore

In astrology the Sun rules Leo and the heart. The planetary days still carry their gods’ names: Sunday for the Sun, Monday for the Moon, and in French mardi for Mars and vendredi for Venus. Agrippa listed the Sun’s metals, stones, herbs and animals in detail.
