Description
Origin & Traditional Use
Ritual candles are candles made and dressed for one intention, with herbs, oils and colour chosen for the work. They are designed to be the focus of a single spell or ritual. These candles are burned to invite wholeness into your life and home, to set the tone of a space and to focus meditation and intention on that quality.
Uses in the Work
For elemental and altar work: setting the quarters, balancing the elements and dressing the altar as a complete working space. Place them at the four quarters (air in the east, fire in the south, water in the west, earth in the north) and light them in turn as you call each guardian.
